A little bigger than its predecessor, the Landzie 36″ Push or Tow Behind Compost Spreader was developed for those who couldn’t decide between the 24” and the 44”. Unlike other spreaders, the Landzie was intentionally crafted with rotating drum technology and a unique mesh-diamond cage for optimal filtration and quick, consistent, and even distribution of topdressing material.

Featuring an all-steel construction based upon a traditional hand-pulled roller design, this lightweight Compost lawn spreader has a mesh basket with 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch diamond-shaped holes that evenly distributes your compost, peat moss or lightweight topdressing spreader material in consistent layers as it rolls along. The mesh filters out the large compost debris which stays in the basket and doesn’t go on your lawn.

- Landzie 36″ Push or Tow Behind Compost Spreader is an easy to use, lawn roller that will help with any topdressing job.
- This all steel topdressing roller can spread any compost, peat moss, or other fine ground topdressing material.
- It has a mesh basket with diamond-shaped 1/2-inch by 3/4-inch openings. Breaks up clumpy materials as it tumbles, leaving behind any large, unwanted residual in the drum for disposal.
- The hinged door swings open for easy access and has two low profile latches, so the gate won’t open during use.
- Heat treated powder coated finish (425 degrees).

I am loving this compost spreader so far! The quality of craftsmanship is very good with nice welds and heavy duty handle! It was super easy to assemble and shipping to Canada was super fast! The 36″ Compost Spreader very nice quality product. Simple design and simple to assemble. They even send you a really nice 13mm ratcheting combination wrench to attach the handle! I also got the free weeder as part of a promotion. I didn’t notice the promotion when I placed the order for the spreader but they called me and offered it to me. That’s great customer service! The weeder is also very high quality steel construction. Very solid and it works great. Super fast and free shipping! Very happy customer. I highly recommend Landzie!

We have been using the 24 inch as well as the 36 inch spreader on our lawns.
Both of these tools work so much better than we expected. The size of the holes in the grates work perfectly to separate out all the trash from peat moss and topsoil for instance.
Both of the units work extremely well towing as well as pushing over the lawns. They leave a uniform layer of material that you could not duplicate with any other tool to my knowledge or spreading by hand.
Parts of our property have a lot of trees mixed in among the grass and bare spots. I personally have backed into and hit those trees with the spreaders. The only issue that came from that had been damaging the clips that hold the door on the unit. Other than that, they have held up as if you never had run into anything.
Both of the spreaders are super durable. Potentially, the only thing that could damage them, if you run them over with a tractor.
Other than that, I would expect we will have these units for years to come.
I also have the Aerorake and root cutter ordered/shipped as well.
For the times that I had spoken with Ashley in Customer Service. She and her team were extremely helpful in making sure my orders were processed and shipped out for me.
This also included last year when I needed to purchase individual parts for the 36 inch spreader. I could not ask for better Customer Service from a business anywhere.
Historically, speaking, this is part of the company’s philosophy. I don’t often see companies pay that much attention to detail as Landzie does.
Thanks to Ashley‘s great online presence. There will be more purchases coming from them.
For someone not yet a customer of Landzie. I definitely would make them my first choice for some very interesting lawn tools opposed to using another company.
